Montgomery County OIC makes a commitment to provide resources to the community to make their holiday season more enjoyable. These opportunities are made possible through our annual giving campaign and partnerships with several organizations and businesses. Winter Coat Distribution (October - February)
Montgomery County OIC is fortunate to receive a donation of new winter coats for children in need each year. If you are looking for a coat for your child, please call our office with your child's coat size. Based on availability, we will arrange for you to pick up a coat during normal business hours.
Thanksgiving Meal Kits (November)
Through our partnership with the Rotary Club of Norristown and other grant funders, OIC distributes complete Thanksgiving meal baskets to over 100 families in the community. In 2021, we plan to expand this program to provide more meal options and serve more families! Applications will be accepted based on family needs and eligibility. Please check back for a copy of our application.
Annual Toy Giveaway (November - December)
Through donations of businesses and organizations, OIC distributes toys to 400 families in Montgomery County who are in most need. In previous years, we partnered with the Toys for Tots Foundation to provide toys to children ages 0 to 10 years old. This program will resume for another year with adjustments to our intake process. Information will be released in mid-November 2021. School Districts in Montgomery County can email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive information on how to secure toys for families in your district.
