Job Description
This position will contribute to overseeing the daily coordination of after-school services and program activities at the designated location. This position will ensure that all proposed outcomes and expectations for the program activities are met this includes ensuring that all performance measures and assessments are completed. The site coordinator will demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and work with a collaborative approach. This position will require the individual to be accountable, proactive, and good with relationship-building.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled students and their families in Academic Development and Entrepreneurship Training.
- Maintain a clear and consistent line of communication with program staff, school administration, and parents.
- Create and develop a communication flow chart around site activities, lead site coordinator, and staff and schools.
- Develop schedules that incorporate student interests, required curricula and timeframes, and ensure their successful implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead on site staff and students.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate to students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Responsibility for meeting the needs for all received request, and reporting.
- Ensure development and implementation of high-quality student activities to assure seamless program transmission
- Maintain student participation and attendance throughout the year via recruitment and retention activities, including student voice and choice engagement strategies.
- Meet or exceed Average Daily Attendance (ADA) goals throughout the year.
- Ensure that Program Leaders are developing high quality programming by collecting and reviewing lesson plans for content and effective planning.
- Attend professional development and training activities and meetings provided by state and Montco OIC
- Check email daily to ensure that program updates and communications are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries from parents and students regarding program offerings, attendance, and registration procedures.

- Integrates activities and coordination among program staff to achieve impact social and academic results to students and families.
- Monitor student behavior on site during program hours; utilize appropriate discipline measures, as necessary.
- Responsible for outreach and coordinate educational events for parents of enrolled students.
- Ensures accurate documentation and tracking of program activities, including but not limited to student attendance, site meetings, etc
- Provide support Child Care Director andr Program Manager in implementing evaluation activities and collecting data.
- Achieve program objectives by following the activities through the mentoring of staff personnel.
- Schedule and facilitate regular staff planning meetings to achieve improvement of program activities and processes.
- Complete and submits regular reports to Lead site coordinator regarding status of activities at site.
- Ability to adjust program activities to meet the needs of the students and the parents.
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute to meet financial responsibilities.
- Ability to work (Monday-Fri) from 10a-6p during school hours.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Set standards for program policies and goals.
- Ability to run an after-school program.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s preferred in Education, Training, or related degree
- Certifications: CPR with AED and First Aid
- Level 2 Background Clearance
- Experience in education and youth development; experience providing school based / school related programming
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
- Skill in data tracking, record keeping, writing reports, and maintaining student and staff records
- Experience working with at-risk youth a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish, French and/or Creole) skills a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to successfully navigate through the Internet and other applicable software
- Strong writing skills
- Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in staff supervision preferred
- Ability to work with and engage individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and effective program (moving parts and moving people) in a timely manner.
