Norristown, PA – Montgomery County OIC will host its annual MLK Day of Service project on Monday, January 16th beginning at 9am. This year’s focus is establishing a community support space for clients and the surrounding community. The first phase of this project will be to establish a food pantry and community support space. There are several ways you can help us this year!

Donate non-perishable items

During the month of January and beyond, supporters of Montgomery County OIC can drop off food pantry items or other canned goods to restock our shelves. In addition, we will be collecting household cleaning items and toiletries to support families and clients of OIC.

Volunteer on MLK Day of Service

We are looking for a handful of volunteers to organize, paint and create our new community support space on Monday, January 16th beginning at 9am. Volunteers can arrive between 8:30 am – 9:00 am to sign in and receive their assignment. The volunteer project will conclude around 1:00 pm.

Make a financial contribution or fundraise on behalf of OIC

The third and most important way to make this project a success is by making a financial contribution of any amount or encourage friends/family to donate! We have set up a user-friendly page to make a donation or create your own fundraiser. All proceeds will go directly to our food pantry and community support space. Click here to start.
